Let’s stop pretending that young people can’t be trusted. Our movement wants to give young people a platform where they can help and a voice that would be heard. We want to welcome young people to share their knowledge, skills, competencies, or jokes with those who need to have a good laugh in these hard times.

There were two lockdowns in our regions which means that some families had spent their lockdowns in very small apartments. This alone is enough for high tensions to occur, but if you add alcoholism, bullying in school, violence at home or any other of the many difficulties happening every day, the children have to pay a high and dangerous emotional toll. We would offer our volunteers to take some of that pressure of their backs. Just one hour a week of laughing, walking the dog, watching movies, learning something new, give many kids and parents an opportunity to breathe and calm down.

We are trying to reach young people, who would eventually want to share their knowledge and experiences, but lack some encouragement from outside. The goal is to represent to youth in our city that they can actually change someone's life for the better if they want. We want to connect with local high schools and represent our project as a free time activity that results in improving social skills and other benefits.
