Finding a common solution for the forgotten green spaces. Small teams will work on a "green spot" of their choice, with the same materials available for each team. Each team will create its unique "green garden", with its own identity but is in harmony with the others due to the use of the same materials. This idea will create small green spaces all around our city, which will improve the quality of life, stimulate communication and social life and set a good example of environmental protection.

With this project we focus on the lack of united view on the green development of the city and on making the common areas friendlier and a responsibility of the people who live around them. We intend to provoke the civil commitment and participation in nature conserving practices. By accepting this challenge we will share easy practices for improving green areas, thus increasing people's skills and knowledge, awakening their desire to cooperate in the name of a common cause. Working together, we will achieve positive change for the city, and the stakeholders in the process will form a "green society".

Our target group includes citizens and visitors of the city, the local institutions, gardeners, landscape architects, students and pupils and everyone who loves nature and intends to help protect the environment. We will focus on young people specifically, because they have the time and potential to bring change to the society in general.

The project will involve the following activities: Organizing events for holding discussions and dialogues between the various stakeholders on the topic of developing and preserving the green spaces in the city. Conducting a thorough research and getting acquainted with good practices from around the world on managing urban green spaces. Sharing good practices and generating ideas, choosing specific locations for conducting the actions and applying the ideas, developing a plan, concept for action and gathering the necessary materials, project implementation. Developing the network of stakeholders, assigning the different jobs and distribution of materials. Team building activities for the different stakeholders and allowing for the teams to develop and start to cooperate and work together. Creating a guide with tips for developing urban green spaces. Coordinating and supporting the overall implementation of the project. Monitoring the different implementation phases, so the desired results are achieved.

Due to the implementation of our project our city will become greener, it will be friendlier and the people interested in promoting and sustaining better conditions for the environment will build a green society and keep in contact to continue improving our common places and forgotten unattended green spots around the city. Our project will help make the air cleaner and fresher, which is important for our health; there will be pleasant places for resting or hanging out with friends or just gathering together of different people. We will engage different stakeholders in the project and the work process will bring them closer and help them build a network of contacts and creating a future "green society", which will already have a built-in attitude of nature conservation.

Our project aims at helping people with green mind find each other and build a network (green society) so they can help each other protect and help the nature in the urban areas. Their work will help other people see the benefits and hopefully change the attitude of people towards protecting the environment as well as towards building a friendlier and more welcoming urban settings which help people relax and reconnect with nature.

As we live in the city of Varna,our motivation is related to our direct monitoring of what is happening with nature in the city. Seeing how the environment is polluted, trees are cut down and concrete is poured in their place. We want to live in a nice clean and green city to breathe air rich in oxygen. Milena has experience in projects related to the presentation of graphic visions, interior solutions, projects related to creativity in art, temporary interventions in the urban environment, development of innovation, preservation of cultural and architectural heritage. Yordan has a degree in Management of International Business and has volunteer in many projects and initiatives. Yana has an extensive experience in project management and implementation of local and international projects.
