The project will establish a digital centre, a safe space for all family. The centre will run digital education for adults and kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. The centre will provide Internet connection for those without it (BYOD). The centre will distribute 60 notebooks after successful completion of courses. We count 60 adults and 100 kids as target monitoring indicators. With the services, target group will have better potential for employment and improved self-perception and self-worth.
Brno-North, the Czech Republic
Brno-North is home to varied communities with massive social discrepancies creating tension between these various communities. It is home to wealthy professionals living in grand houses, to middle class families living in terraced houses, working class families living in blocks of flats, and lowest social classes living in substandard accommodation, it is also home to unemployed, plus newcomers to the city, and a large marginalized community living in the Cejl area, a socially excluded area next to downtown Brno.
Brno-North is home to 47 thousand people. It includes all ranges of society strata. The project will focus on the lowest social classes and marginalized communities in the area, especially those not participating in the digital space.

Numbers: 60x adults, 20 hours of learning, 60 certificates, 60 notebooks
Numbers: 100x kids, minimum of 20 hours of support, ready for distant learning
Numbers: 160x total
Numbers: 1000 hours of running the Digital centre (50 weeks x 5 days x 4 hours)
Digital skills and competencies will bring the lowest social classes and marginalized communities into 21st century and into the digital world we are living in. It will help with participation in the digital space that increasingly gains in prominence and many citizens take for granted and yet not everyone participates in.
We think this is something that might significantly help a lot of locals and is in line with today's times and challenges.
