The project will create a bridge between those who do not believe that there are people in extreme poverty, those who live in it and local authorities.
People living in urban areas do not know the true reality of the rural area.
The poor people, from rural areas, are not in a permanent dialogue with local authorities and community because they do not have an adequate spaces like libraries, creative workshop or others to involve the vulnerable groups in dialogue.

South Romania

The implementation of the project will be done in Bucharest and 4 villages from Giurgiu, Ialomita, Calarasi and Dambovita County.
The focus of the project is for non-civically involved groups in rural areas, fundraising is just a mechanism to interconnect those in the urban area, with those in rural areas and with local authorities.
In the villages the authorities invoke the lack of spaces arranged to attract poor people for dialogue. Through the donations received we want to arrange library type spaces, creative workshops, study areas where we can attract all parties, beneficiaries, community and authorities for a permanent dialogue, not only during the project.

The target group will divide in 3 categories:
The group of beneficiaries (approximately 1000 people and 200 children) from which information will be collected regarding their needs from the legislative point of view, goods, food, and the needs from local authorities.
The group of donors (minimum of 1000 donors) who will understand what vulnerable groups mean, their real needs, integration problems.
The group from the local community will be formed by approximately 30 people who will be actively involved in the project processes, they will be formed so that after the completion of the project they will get involved in collecting, repairing and distributing donations offering sustainability to the project.

Creating a unique center for collecting donations, which does not currently exist in urban areas
Creating media campaigns with celebrities on the existence of the center and the needs of people in rural areas
Active involvement of the community in Bucharest for the process of donation, sorting and distribution of donations
Involvement of village communities in identifying beneficiaries for donations and dialogue
Dialogue with beneficiaries on real needs in terms of changing the behavior of the community, support of local and central authorities
Preparing reports on the real needs of vulnerable groups and initiating a dialogue with local, central authorities and the community involved.

Changing the concept and mentality of people in urban areas regarding poverty in rural areas and their real needs and also involve them in joint activities with rural communities.
Establish a dialogue between the beneficiaries, local community and authorities thru the spaces created like libraries and other creative spaces that it will be arrange with the donations and human help of people living in Bucharest that don't think the extreme poverty exists.

Active citizenship is the basic idea of ​​the project, involving both those who do not believe that there is deep poverty (donors) and the beneficiaries who believe that there is no hope.
Within the community of vulnerable groups will be created spaces such as libraries, creative workshops used for common activities and dialogue between the members of the local community, local authorities and the vulnerable groups.
As a result of the increase of the dialogue between the actors involved, within the beneficiary centers they will learn manufacturing, education and will become involved in the social decisions in their community.
