Being few babies-children, we ensure higher care and interpersonal relationships quality and also stimulate the reconciliation of parents work and family life. It's why day mothers offer our own place to educate in. It Helps create jobs, decongest the system and get to know your neighbours.
It's in the subburs and inner city, where we need a different and sustainable way of life model.
Majority of children in my country, where there's vast middle class, lives around large urban centers or in subburs. Where families are increasingly at risk of poverty and therefore of social exclusion. Specifically, my city, which is the capital, doesn't stop growing, offering opportunities and absorbing a large immigrant population. Welcoming and being so many people in it, there's an extreme urgency to offer more services and, above all, childcare, due to the overcrowding, which doesn't tend to decrease but the opposite. So just as we must favor the possibilities of repopulating depressed and/or rural areas, we must not forget that the vast majority of people living in urban centers, must be radically improved to get better coexistence and to reverse social inequalities, which are many.
Offering a less crowded and more local educational model, in collaboration with the rest, to improve the living conditions of children and their parents with long working hours in the cities. Creating a different and more local network, where the presence of children is more visible and kepping in mind, to promote other urgent social and environmental changes for any sustainable and egalitarian society model. This is much easier to achieve in rural areas, where population, poverty and inequality are less obvious. To repopulate that areas depends on work opportunities and laws, mostly. But is a perfect education model as well and easier to make it possible. We need to promote communication, respect and care for each other with a more personal contact.
I'm going to deal with the most vulnerable population groups and promote inclusion by offering it, without any excluding racial, religious or social differences; improving the contact between members of the Community with these differences and fights against prejudices and building a united neighbourhood and making its problems visible, to reach more local solutions for helping each other.
It's necessary to involve the Community of Madrid more, in the activity that they already regulate as a "day mother". Starting by uncovering their sectarianism and corporatism, which prevents them from diversifying the offer of educational methods, which don't have to be Waldorf, and force them to accept competition, when what they do is the opposite: to boycott. That the Communities and the City Councils, at a more local level, subsidize these services to families with less purchasing power, that they cannot afford a daycare, because they are so expensive, nor access a public one, because there are fewer and fewer places are offered. That it's these public nurseries are in charge of redistributing to the network the students that they cannot host and not the opposite they actually do.
To Constitute a precedent to later improve the conditions of active or unemployed teachers and those of the entire educational system, and involve all citizens in education, creating new, more rational models. We must contribute to replace educational policies, which are segregated and not human friendly, by others that favor local solutions, including non-formal training and associationism.
It is not only good for a large or small Community, but for the entire Society.
Europe is distinguished by its diversity and its opening of ideological borders and by the opportunities that exist for any social class. Social policies are increased to promote integration and coexistence and all this is what this project also represents.The idea is valid in any environment, since it favors the interpersonal relations of the community and improves the state involvement in educational matters. You will always find some day parents, by proximity, and they are going to be your own neighbors.
I think I express it better and more broadly on my website. but basically it would be summed up that children are always going to make the world a better place to live in and we owe that to them and we owe it to ourselves to improve their lives and create a better future for them.
